The game industry is changing

Hey!

While I prepare new updates, I want to talk to you about the trends in the gaming industry from an artist’s perspective.

Perhaps you’ve been keeping up with the latest news: many artists are migrating to different social media platforms in search of a space where we can share our work without obscure algorithms and confusing platform policies.

Some software is losing its relevance, and we are seeking new tools for drawing. That’s why I’ve decided to create a book that will be updated and constantly relevant. In addition, the Game Art Guidebook covers timeless themes and fundamental drawing principles.

I’ve always been in search of something reliable, something that endures even the toughest times. And now I realize that this “constant” is a circle of like-minded artists. We all need support, and we all want to learn together. The quickest learning experiences I’ve had were always in a team or among fellow artist friends.

Now is the time to learn and connect. Let’s share thoughts, communicate, learn together, and discover new platforms where we can showcase our work. Since the Cara platform is currently trending (it may not last forever, but that’s okay), let’s gather there. Alternatively, feel free to reply to this email or ask a question, and I’ll be sure to respond!

Since you are subscribed to this newsletter, you have an interest in game art and a desire to learn, which means we will always be in touch no matter the changes in the industry.

Best,

Ruslan Kim
